Trade Ally/Contractor Group Orientation Training

What Is This Training About?

  • Provides solid overview of Consumers Energy Business Energy Efficiency Program
  • Guides you through the whole process of filling out and submitting an actual project rebate application
  • Introduces all the Consumers Energy resources available for your business to generate more projects

Who Are These Training Sessions For?

  • New trade allies to our program
  • Contractors seeking more information about elevating to trade ally status
  • Any current trade allies or contractors with new staff members who have not previously taken the training

What Are the Details?

  • Check-in at 8:45 a.m.
  • Session goes from 9 am to 11:30 am
  • Complimentary breakfast will be served.
  • Free photo headshot session will be available to all registered attendees. As an appreciation bonus, a photographer will be present to take complimentary pictures that will be given to you for your use on your company’s website and social media.
  • You are encouraged to bring a laptop in order to practice filling out an actual application

How to Register:

Advanced Lighting Controls Design Lights Consortium LiTES

This is a full-day technical training that will provide attendees with knowledge of advanced lighting control technologies, and how to help your customers save on their energy use. A hands-on session will teach how to correctly design a lighting layout for control systems. This training is presented by Steve Mesh in conjunction with Damon Bosetti from the Design Lights Consortium. Attendees will gain insight on how to educate customers on:

  • The benefits of advanced lighting control systems
  • Energy usage savings
  • Non-Energy benefits
  • Consumers Energy rebates

Space is limited to the first 35 people to register. A continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and beverages will be provided. This training is complimentary to Consumers Energy Registered Trade Allies. This is the third training session of this material. This training was given in October (in Okemos and in Grand Rapids) in 2017. If you attended either of those sessions, please do not register again unless you would like a refresher of the course as the content will be the same.
