New Construction Program Applications
The Commercial Energy Solutions New Construction Program offers rebates to business customers to reduce the initial cost of purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment for construction of the new building.
How to apply for a New Construction rebate:
1. Submit an Application (Part 1) marked as "Pre Notification" and the
appropriate Worksheet (Part 2) from the list below (recommended,
not required).
2. Construct a new energy efficient building.
3. Submit an updated Application (Part 1) marked as "Final" and the
appropriate updated Worksheet (Part 2) from the list below along
with documentation.
4. Receive rebate in approximately 6 weeks of submitting complete
application.
Note: Effective 2/9/2015 - Due to changes in the Commercial Energy Solutions program previous versions of the application and worksheets are no longer being accepted. Please be sure to download the current version for your application submittal.

Please note: Exterior lighting systems, natural gas, and solar systems are not eligible for incentive rebates in the New Construction Program.

Checklist: A simple checklist is provided in the Application to help you through the process and to help you ensure the information is complete before you submit.
Eligibility Notes:
Only TEP non-residential customers are eligible for rebates under this program. Any energy efficient design work undertaken or equipment purchased prior to August 6, 2008 is not eligible for a rebate.
Rebates for energy efficient new construction are capped at 50% of the incremental cost of the energy efficient measures and limited to a maximum of $75,000 per project per year.
